YD series pole-changing multi-speed three phase asynchronous motor is genera-purpose motor. 

It has the characteristics of pole-varying speed according to the requirements of load nature, so as to achieve reasonable matching of power and simplify the characteristics of variable speed system. They are suitable for all kinds of transmission machinery that need pole-by-pole speed regulation in mining, machine tool, metallurgy, textile, printing and dyeing, chemical industry, agricultural machinery and other industries.

The installation size of YD motors is exactly the same as that of YE2 and YE3 motors.
